At the Water’s Edge Adventures is a tight knit company made up of less than 15 total staff. We generally see a high number of returning staff but are always on the lookout for new talent and personalities to join our welcoming community.

Level 2/3 Guide

Contract Dates: (flexible - please inquire directly for specific contract dates)

July 1 – August 31, 2022 / September 25, 2023
July 15 – End of August/end of September, 2023
August 1 – September 25, 2023

Must hold current L2/L3 certification in good standing with the Sea Kayak Guide Alliance of BC.

Will be responsible for:

- Leading and assisting nomadic multi-day kayak tours ranging from 2-8 days in the Johnstone Strait, Blackfish Sound and Broughton Archipelago

- Leading Ecosummer Expeditions 4 Day Basecamp trips located on the border of the Robson Bight Ecological Reserve in the Johnstone Strait

- Potential opportunities to guide 8 day trips in Gwaii Haanas

- Supporting tours and other company needs from shore

- Training AOGs

Guide salary ranging from $220 – $330 per day depending on guiding experience.

Shore rate ranging from $17-$23 hourly depending on experience

Lead guides can expect shore hours if guiding duties do not fill a full 40 hour work week
