The Sea Kayak Guides Alliance of BC is a non-profit member based society of professional sea kayak guides.


Mission:

We support sea kayak guides, the guiding profession and community through training, certification, professional development, and professional standards.


Vision:

To sustain a community of professionals who build meaningful relationships with people, land, and water by fostering a culture of responsibility, expertise,  mentorship, and learning.


About the SKGABC

Since 1994 over 10,000 people have been involved with the Sea Kayak Guides Alliance of BC. There are currently over 800 active members in the SKGABC, including guides, associate members, and company owners/operators. Guides are certified to four different levels, and Level Three Guides may receive additional certification statuses.
