At the Water's Edge Adventures - Assistant Overnight Guide

At the Water’s Edge Adventures is a tight knit company made up of less than 15 total staff. We generally see a high number of returning staff but are always on the lookout for new talent and personalities to join our welcoming community.

AOG Contract Dates: (flexible, please inquire for specific dates)

June 1 – September 4/September 25, 2023
July 15 – End of Aug/end of Sept
August 1 – September 25, 2023

Must hold current AOG certification (or plans to hold before contract start) in good standing with the Sea Kayak Guides Alliance of BC

Will be responsible for:

- Assisting on nomadic multi-day kayak tours ranging from 2-8 days in the Johnstone Strait, Blackfish Sound and Broughton Archipelago

- Assisting on Ecosummer Expeditions 4 Day Basecamp trips located on the border of the Robson Bight Ecological Reserve in the Johnstone Strait

- Supporting tours and other company needs from shore Potential opportunities to assist on 8 day trips in Gwaii Haanas

AOG guides can expect shore hours if guiding duties do not fill a full 40 hour work week
