Hi, I'm Kelly (she/her), an AOG, clinical counsellor & nature-based therapist available for freelance guiding opportunities in June & July 2026. In addition to offering my counselling and nature-based therapy services in the Comox Valley through my practice We Are Kin, I work part-time as an AOG guide in the coastal waters of Vancouver Island in the summer and as a polar kayak guide in Antarctica and South Georgia in the winter. In these roles, I get a chance to help folks (re)connect to the natural world and to educate about and advocate for the protection and preservation of vulnerable and unique ecosystems. I have experience with base camp trips and multiday expeditions in the Johnstone Strait area, Broughton Archipelago, Nuchatlitz, and Hesquiat Peninsula. As a former educator and school counsellor, I have a special affinity for working with youth and school groups.
