Hi, my name is Sinead (36) and I'm from Berlin, Germany. ° After working alongside lead guides and assistant overnight guides in the Johnstone Strait in summer 2018 and 2019, I decided to become an AOG myself. I'm in love with exploring the vast nature and fascinating whales of the west coast of Canada by kayak. Meeting new people who are drawn to the outdoors such as myself is exhilarating to me and I find happiness in shaping amazing memories together. ° I would love to work my summers in BC as a kayak guide. Back home in Berlin I work as a self-employed sound and light technician, as well as a project manager for events. ° Quick facts: * female, age 36 * languages: fluent in English, German / basics in French, Spanish * self-employed * very felxible * used to long working hours and physical work ° Kayak experience: * 9 weeks in 2018 and 9 weeks in 2019 > company: EcoSummer Expeditions (base camp) > employed with a working visa > kayak day trips from base with lead-, assistant guides & guests > organizing pre-trip meetings and managing guest arrivals > collecting guests and gear and arranging boat pick-ups > prepping meals and cooking > maintaining camp > aiding guests with translation ° Since I'm from Germany, I need someone to sponsor me for a working visa to come to Canada. ° Feel free to contact me :)
