MICHAEL HERMAN - Level Two Guide

Profile:

I am a professional sea kayak and whitewater canoe guide with commercial experience leading sea kayak trips on the Atlantic Ocean in Nova Scotia including Cape Breton, the East Arm of Great Slave Lake (NWT), Lake Superior and Georgian Bay (Great Lakes), and most recently (April 2023) in Desolation Sound, Broughton Archipelago and Johnstone Strait for Spirit of the West Adventures. My passion is working with teenagers from various backgrounds (private schools, inner-city and young offenders), and have worked for noted organizations such as Outward Bound Wilderness School, Project D.A.R.E., and Trails Youth Initiatives.
