Michael Herman - Level Two Guide

Profile:

I am a professional sea kayak and whitewater canoe guide with commercial experience leading sea kayak trips on the Atlantic Ocean in Nova Scotia including Cape Breton, the East Arm of Great Slave Lake (NWT), Lake Superior and Georgian Bay (Great Lakes, Ontario), and most recently ( 2023, 2024) in Desolation Sound, Nutchatlitz, Johnstone Strait and Broughton Archipelago, BC. My passion is exploring new places, and helping others from various backgrounds develop new skills, while exploring, learning about, and enjoying wild spaces. I have worked for noted organizations such as Outward Bound Wilderness School, Project D.A.R.E., Trails Youth Initiatives, Jackpine Paddle, and Spirit of the West Adventures.
