Hi! I’m a 36-year-old AOG based in Tofino and available for exciting overnight guiding opportunities for the 2026 season. Most of my guiding experience has been in Barkley and Clayoquot Sound, alongside multi-day private paddle expeditions, but I’m super keen to branch out and explore new regions. Haida Gwaii is high on my list, both for its vast, culturally rich landscapes and as the next step in my guiding journey. I’m deeply passionate about remote, wild places. Beyond kayaking, multi-day backcountry hiking is where I truly thrive. I took last season off from guiding to work in my other field as a Marine Field Technician, monitoring kelp forests, seagrass meadows, forage fish, and marine mammals. I also bring a background in teaching, outdoor education, environmental conservation, hospitality, food prep and guest services, and I’m currently a Member in Training with Search and Rescue. I’m fluent in English and a native German speaker. Kayak guiding is where all my passions come together and I love sharing that stoke with guests from all walks of life!
