I am a seasoned level 3 sea kayak guide with 7 seasons of expedition experience in British Columbia and 4 seasons Antarctica, now eager to bring this expertise into an instructor role or contract guiding. My background spans leadership and instructional positions as a Wilderness Medicine Instructor, logistics manager for a sea kayak company, a Search & Rescue Technician with the Canadian Armed Forces, and a snowboard instructor. Across these roles, I have developed a calm and clear teaching style, rooted in patience, humour, and warmth. With strong foundations in safety management, situational awareness, and risk assessment, I bring both adventurous spirit and steady leadership to help others build confidence, curiosity, and skill on the water. I now own a small business offering Wilderness First aid and Wilderness First responder courses as well as contract kayak guiding services here and abroad.
