Kate Hives - Level Three Guide, Class 4 Waters Endorsement, Guide Trainer, Guide Examiner

Contact Me:

I have grown up paddling on Vancouver Island, beginning my career working with YM-YWCA Camp Thunderbird as a youth program Sea Kayak Guide. It was at the age of 18 that I first took SKGABC training and have continued to guide and gain experience around my own home Canadian waters from east coast to west and the Great Lakes in between. In my 15 years of professional guiding, I have also had the opportunity to paddle in beautiful places around the world such as Chile, Wales, Scotland and Malaysia. I love to explore the wilderness of this world and in turn offer space for inner wilderness exploration in tandem. Adventure and learning lie in the strangest of places sometimes! My guiding focus is on safe and exciting wilderness adventures ranging from family friendly excursions to advanced training and paddling in Class 4 waters. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or inquiries.
