We'd like to give a big thank you to John Hunter for his Keynote Address at our AGM! John has years of experience as the lead physiotherapist for the Canadian Olympic Canoe and Kayak team. He also has experience conducting clinical research for injury prevention and has a passion for problem solving and educating patients (especially regarding low back pain and hip pain) using an evidence based and active approach to rehabilitation. In the past ten years John has achieved the highest level of manual therapy, receiving fellowship status with the Canadian Academy of Manual and Manipulative Therapy and he has mentored numerous advanced manual therapists. John is certified in Gunn Intramuscular Stimulation (IMS) and has further experience as an associate professor at the University of Alberta, and as an associate editor for the Journal of Physical Therapy. John is a current member of Victoria search and rescue and loves getting out on the water with his family. Attending and presenting with John was Fraser McKean BSc, MPT (Physiotherapy) who has experience as a junior and senior Canadian National team athlete and as a physiotherapist he is now teaming up with John at Rise Health.

They have graciously shared a PDF of the exercises that they talked about on our Zoom AGM call.
