Lund Exchange 2020 - April 17-19, 2020 - Hosted by Terracentric Coastal Adventures and Footprint Kayak and Hike Explorations

SKGABC Spring Guides Exchange will be held in Lund on the Sunshine Coast! This beautiful area with gorgeous surroundings will be an ideal place to run through our usual range of workshops on strokes, navigation, rescues, rolling, general camaraderie and more!  For those who have not attended an Exchange before, this will be an ideal event to get into it, as there will be ample time to network as well as build your guiding skills toolbox.

Please note: participation in the Guides Exchange is only open to SKGABC members in good standing (Renew Now)

Accomodation:

Group camping is included in your registration at Sunlund-by-the-Sea Campground & Cabins.

At additional costs and at your own expense, SunLund will offer private campsites and cabin rentals. They will also offer the option for an extended stay if you’d like to explore this area prior to or after the spring guides exchange. Visit their website and contact them for details.

As at all Exchanges, it's best to BYOB (Bring Your Own Boat!) as boats will be quite limited! If you have 2 kayaks and are willing to share, please help support your guide community and bring it out as well! If you are not able to bring your own kayak/gear, please contact Christine Hollman at Terracentric Coastal Adventures for your rental needs.

Cost:

Full Coast Guard Reguirements are mandatory as always; full immersion gear (drysuits or wetsuits) are required for all rolling & rescue courses. The Exchange is a great time to dust off you guiding gear while brushing up on skills, so feel free to pack along your regular guiding kit (VHF, charts, first aid kit, flares, rewarming gear, etc). Please also provide all your own camping gear as none will be available for loaning out. If you're someone who likes snacking through out the day, please also come prepared with your own treats for in between the provided meals!

$175 per SKGABC Member (Early bird price $150). Includes most meals, camping option, participation in activities, and chance to win door prizes.
