Special Resolution to amend the Bylaws

The SKGABC Executive Committee has proposed an amendment to the By-Laws to increase membership fees from $35 to $45, and to eliminate the $15 Certification Fee.

Rational:

  • Membership costs in the SKGABC have not changed since incorporation in 1996.
  • The change in membership dues, coupled with the elimination of the $15 certification fee is meant to help streamline the process, and reduce confusion from new members.
  • As the SKGABC continues to develop more resources for members additional costs are incurred.
  • Operational costs have increased since 1996, coupled with inflation.

Any proposed amendments to the Bylaws must be approved by three-quarters of voting members at the Annual General Meeting. If the motion is defeated, no changes to the Bylaws will occur.

Proxy voting on issues of Special Resolution is permitted. If you wish to obtain a Proxy Vote, please contact us
