Twenty years! Since 1994 the SKGABC has been working to promote sea kayaking safety through this Alliance of professionals. A huge part of this has been encouraging on-going training with our Guides Exchanges! To help celebrate our 20th Anniversary, we are returning to a classic Exchange location, Salt Spring Island!

This May, Island Escapades on Salt Spring Island will host a classic exchange on Salt Spring Island. With skill sessions, knowledge seminars, and the social camaraderie the exchanges are known for, we hope to see YOU at the 2014 Spring Exchange!

Location:

    Salt Spring Island, BC.

Camping:

    Garden-Faire Campground All members are encouraged to come prepared to camp! Rain or shine, its part of the experience!

    Camping costs are included as part of exchange fees!

Door Prizes!

Boats:

    As always, its best to BYOB (Bring Your Own Boat). There will be a few boats around for others to borrow. If you require a boat, please contact us: info@skgabc.com

Equipment:

  • The waters around Salt Spring can be cold! To participate in the Current, Rolling or Rescue sessions, immersion gear is required!
Cost:

    $75 - Includes a number of meals, participation in activities, and door prizes!
    Pay online now, or at the event via cash or cheque!

CPR-C Re-certification:

    Cost TBA / person - pre registration required
